2024 FREE NATURAL DIAMOND MARKET REPORT

Today's retail diamond buyers are more selective than ever before.

We are seeing strong demand for 2+ carat, well-cut ovals, and triple excellent round brilliants.  Modern buyers are unwilling to accept stones with flaws.  The round brilliant shape continues to reign supreme.  While the fancy shape market slows, the biggest laggards are hearts, and cushions.  Longer Ovals, Pears, Radiants, and Cushions are bringing higher prices than their shorter counterparts.  Poorly cut or shaped stones, unattractive stones, and included stones are illiquid, and trading at very large discounts.
