We are seeing strong demand for 2+ carat, well-cut marquises, well-cut ovals, and triple excellent round brilliants.  Our customers are unwilling to accept stones with flaws.  The round brilliant shape continues to reign supreme.  While the fancy shape market slows, the biggest laggards are hearts, and cushions.  Longer Ovals, Pears, Radiants, and Cushions are bringing higher prices than their shorter counterparts.  Poorly cut or shaped stones, unattractive stones, and included stones are illiquid, and trading at very large discounts.
